Chrono-, Dromo-, and Inotropic

1. Positive Chronotropic will cause the patient's heart rate to increase.

2. Positive Dromotropic will cause an increase in the speed of the AV conduction system.

3. Positive Inotropic will cause the heart to contract (squeeze) harder.

  1. would positive chronotopic activity not-followed by a respective increase in dromotropy lead to an atrial flutter type arrhythmia??
