Xarelto (rivaroxaban)

Xarelto is an anticoagulant that prevents platelets from forming. This drug is just like other blood-thinners, but stronger. With these patients, any trauma or bleeding, should be considered priority, due to the blood not being able to form clots. Bleeding is very hard to control, and most likely that patient will continue to hemorrhage, even with interventions being taken.
